Students who thrive at Armis are those who benefit from structure, clear expectations, and a Christ-centered learning environment.
Because Armis operates within a hybrid model, students grow in responsibility over time. In the elementary years, parents provide close guidance and support on home days as students build foundational skills. As students mature into middle and high school, they gradually develop greater independence, accountability, and ownership of their work.
A supportive parent or mentor who provides encouragement and accountability at home is essential at every stage. When families and teachers link arms in this way, students are positioned to flourish both academically and spiritually.
Armis Christian Academy is designed as a collaborative hybrid model. The primary instruction takes place in the classroom. Teachers provide direct teaching, structured lessons, weekly assignment plans, and the materials students need to complete their work successfully.
Students are equipped during on-campus days with instruction, notes, and clear guidance so they can complete assignments at home using their textbooks and classroom materials.
Parental involvement looks different depending on a student’s age. In the elementary years, parents provide closer guidance and support as students build foundational skills. As students mature, they gradually take on more responsibility and independence in completing their work.
Parents are not expected to take on the role of the primary educator or master unfamiliar subjects. Instead, parents link arms with teachers by providing accountability, structure, and encouragement on home days. This partnership supports both academic growth and character formation.
Armis Christian Academy seeks to prepare students not only for academic achievement, but for faithful and purposeful living.
Through classical instruction, character formation, and biblical discipleship, students are equipped to develop critical thinking skills, articulate communication, intellectual discipline, and the ability to defend their faith. Our goal is to send prepared students into the world equipped for college, career, family life, and service to their communities with both competence and conviction.
